Is Bridges Academy Austin accredited, and do the credits count toward college admissions or transfer to another school?
Yes, Bridges Academy Austin is regionally and internationally accredited by Cognia and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the same parent agency that accredits the University of Texas at Austin. Bridges Academy Austin is also accredited through The Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC), the only agency that ensures that credits earned are accepted by any public school, university, college, charter school, or accredited private school in Texas.
How is Bridges Academy Austin different from other schools?
Your child will likely make much more progress in Bridges Academy Austin than in other schools. Our teachers hold master's degrees or doctorates, in addition to teaching certificates and specialist certificates. Our teachers and specialists have the skills to tailor instruction to your child's needs. Our students average two years of growth in reading per year.
What type of students are the best fit for your school?
Bridges Academy Austin is a good fit for students who want to learn in a calm, organized environment. In a public school, most of our students would be in general education classes, with some students receiving dyslexia services, resource support, and/or gifted/talented education.
Do you have a high school, and where do students go after high school?
Yes, Bridges Academy Austin is a PreK-12 school. Our graduates typically attend college after graduation, and we prepare students for successful employment during and after high school.
