  1. Is Bridges Academy Austin accredited, and do the credits count toward college admissions or transfer to another school?

Yes, as a fully accredited K-12 school, the credits earned are accepted by any public school, charter school, or accredited private school in Texas. Yes, our credits and diplomas are accepted by 4-year universities, in addition to 2-year colleges. We are accredited by Cognia, the same agency that accredits universities such as UT-Austin.

  1. How is Bridges Academy Austin different from other schools?

Your child will likely make much more progress in our school than in other schools. Our teachers and specialists are highly trained and experienced, with most holding a PhD or master's degree, in addition to teaching and specialist certifications. Our teachers and specialists have the skills to tailor instruction to your child's needs.

  1. What type of students are the best fit for your school?

Our school is a good fit for students who want to learn in a calm, organized environment. In a public school, most of our students would be in general education classes, with some students receiving dyslexia services, resource support, or gifted/talented education.

  1. Do you have a high school, and where do students go after high school?

Yes, we are a K-12 school. In 2022, all of our graduates went to college after graduation. We are now enrolling for 9th grade for the 2023-24 school year.
