Yes, Bridges Academy Austin is regionally and internationally accredited by Cognia and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the same parent agency that accredits the University of Texas at Austin.  Bridges Academy Austin is also accredited through The Texas Private School Accreditation Commission (TEPSAC), the only agency that ensures that credits earned are accepted by any public school, university, college, charter school, or accredited private school in Texas. 


Your child will likely make much more progress in Bridges Academy Austin than in other schools.  Our teachers hold master's degrees or doctorates, in addition to teaching certificates and specialist certificatesOur teachers and specialists have the skills to tailor instruction to your child's needs.  Our students average two years of growth in reading per year.


Bridges Academy Austin is a good fit for students who want to learn in a calm, organized environment.  In a public school, most of our students would be in general education classes, with some students receiving dyslexia services, resource support, and/or gifted/talented education.   Bridges Academy Austin is NOT a fit for students with behavior problems.


Yes!  Bridges Academy Austin has very strong outcomes for typically-developing students, too.  Typically-developing learners thrive with the small classes and mastery learning that moves at the pace of the student.  Most students make two years of growth per year academically.  


Yes, Bridges Academy Austin is a K-12th grade school.  Our high school graduates typically attend college after graduation.
